As executive director of the Alliance for Sustainable Built Environments, Craig Zurawski serves as the coordinator of programs and initiatives developed through the collaboration of member firms. Zurawski has been responsible for negotiating strategic partnerships and sponsorships of workshops and special events with the U.S. Green Building Council and the World Green Building Council, International Facility Management Association and Hospitals for a Healthy Environment. He has also been involved in the creation of educational programs that engage industry professional organizations, nationally respected college faculty, researchers and leaders of private industries of the building trade media. Zurawski's experience in environmental and energy programs spans more than 20 years and includes the creation and execution of successful events regionally and nationally. |

Paul Platte leads the EcoCommercial Building (ECB) Program in North America, a progressive business model that brings industry leaders in the sustainable building materials, products and services markets together. He oversees the ECB Network's collaborative efforts to provide technologies and expertise to architects, contractors, developers, and property owners who aim to increase energy efficiency and cost savings in new and retrofit buildings. Throughout his 22 years at Bayer, Platte has held several strategic marketing leadership positions in the U.S. and Germany. Prior to directing ECB, he led the North American AutoCreative cross-business program for brand awareness and business development, as well as the launch of a cross-industry program for collaborative development of alternative energy vehicle innovation and design. Platte holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from General Motors Institute. He is a member of the Society of Plastics Engineers.

Tal has a Marketing degree, an Interior Design degree, is a LEED Green Associate and is currently pursuing her MBA at DePaul University. Her knowledge of internal and external processes necessary for successful corporate projects, as well as the resources available at Haworth allows her to fully execute a total account strategy designed to meet the specific and evolving needs of major corporate accounts nationally and globally.  |

Rob Zimmerman is involved with all aspects of water conservation related to plumbing fixtures and faucets at the Kohler Co. Zimmerman is a member of American Water Works Association, the Wisconsin Water Resources Association and regularly participates in meetings of the Plumbing Manufacturers' Institute. He is also a member of the steering committee that helped advise the EPA on the formation of its new water-efficient product labeling program called WaterSense. Zimmerman is a LEED accredited professional and has a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Purdue University and a master's degree in engineering management from the Milwaukee School of Engineering.

Aaron Ites has been with KONE Inc. since 1995. Ites currently serves as the Director of Marketing. Previously, he held responsibilities as a product manager for KONE Inc. Throughout Ites’ experience in the elevator and escalator industry, he has served as a new Construction Sales Engineer in several markets which include Las Vegas, NV and Miami, FL. Ites has also resided in Europe for several years working with the KONE Corporate Office in developing new strategies and processes for sustainable products.

Kellie Lindquist joined KONE Inc. in 2005. She focuses her time on educating vertical transportation customers’ including architects, general contractors, consultants, building owners and FMs about the latest products and service solutions. Lindquist manages the external communication of KONE’s vision and future goals around Sustainability. During Lindquist’s time with KONE they have led the industry in the movement toward more environmentally supportive products and services, as well as embracing the concepts of sustainability across the company. Kellie is the Chair of the NEII Communications Committee, United States Green Building – Illinois Chapter, Alliance for Sustainable Built Environments, KONE's Environmental Excellence Strategy Team and is a LEED Green Associate.

Steve McGuire is responsible for the Sustainability and Environmental Marketing programs for Philips Lighting in North America and develops the sustainability business and market plans for all the market segment teams. Over the past 23 years he has performed numerous jobs within the lighting industry from manufacturing, facility maintenance, development engineering, and environmental compliance. McGuire has managed all Philips internal sustainable programs (Eco-Vision, Eco-Design, Green Flagships) for many years. While working in the development department, McGuire was one of the patent holders for the (low mercury) ALTO products Philips offers. McGuire signed the EPA's National Partnership for Environmental Priorities Program and becoming the first company in the nation to commit all of its U.S.-based plants in the voluntary program.

Rick Reinders is the president of Watertronics LLC, a Wisconsin Based manufacturer of water reuse systems, Rain water Harvesting systems, and water pumping stations. Rick helped start Watertronics in 1987 and has held various positions including; Technical sales, International sales manager, and Vice President of Sales. In January of 2008, Watertronics was purchased by the Lindsay Corporation, an Omaha based manufacturer of Agricultural irrigation products. Rick studied mechanical engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and the Milwaukee School of Engineering. He and Watertronics are actively involvedn with ASBE, IFMA, AWWA, the Irrigation Association, ARCSA, and ASPE. Rick holds US patents for various technologies in water filtration and pump systems.  |
